    Bad news in the neighborhood. Keeping my kittens very close by and inside for awhile. They are not happy about it. An obscene number of cats have gone missing nearby and now they figured out why. There's a coyote or two lurking about the ravine (in the middle of the blinking city). At least 30 cats have gone missing practically out of their own yards.

    What scares away coyotes in a city? I don't have a shotgun.

    misskitty, here in the desert are anyone who lets their cat run loose we call that coyote buffet, I have them running through the neighborhood here.

    My cat finally snuck out the door the night before we left on vacation. It was 1:00 AM and he escaped when I let the dogs out. I have kept him in the house since we got him because he had been living outside for at least a month after he was abandoned, so I was afraid he would run away. I was yelling at him as softly as I could since it was the middle of the night, chased him around the car and before we got halfway around he just laid down and rolled over, and let me pick him up. Whew!

    Unk: they are growing sooooo fast. I keep trying to take new pictures of the girls who are also growing like weeds. Problem is they're either sleeping together (of which I've posted tons of pix) or running so fast I can't get a shot of them.

    I just showed Ella the pix of the boys. She says they're cute, but she's disinterested. She says she wants the real thing.
