Fisher cats are the only thing that will take down a porcupine. For some reason that really impresses me.

There is nothing cuter than little, pink kitty tongue....when they don't know that it is sticking out!

In the mornings, the barn cats are sitting in the opened loft door watching for me. Their heads are turned looking down the road and when they see the dogs, their heads start popping in and out. Then they start twisting with raised tails. When I go into the feed room to take their food up the ladder to the loft, their heads are looking down through the opening.
Another group plays leap frog down the walk trying to get ahead of each other. They want to be the first ones to reach the plates of gooey food. So every morning, I'm a VIP.

I was sitting outside taking a water break and about three sweat bees landed on my leg. I was watching them and noticed this other bug, which turned out to be a tiny spider, approaching the sweat bees. The bee was about 3 times the size of the spider. All of a sudden, the spider leaped onto the head of one of the sweat bee's. I knocked them off my leg and they fell to the ground. The sweat bee was twisting as the spider held on riding on the bee's head. When the bee became paralyzed, the tiny spider carried the bee over to a table leg and climbed up the leg. It stopped every now and then to rest. He took the bee up to a web he had built near the top of the table. Fascinating!

Kowboy, the upside down Tuxedo boy on the left, Kizzy, the matriarch in the middle, then Kudo, our Maine Coon/mix boy.

    I LOVE them so much.

Kowboy is 24 pounds (yes!) and has started randomly meowing loudly wherever he is, for NO reason. It's really starting to bug me and I have no idea what to do about it..it's very obnoxious.

Kizzy is 15 years old.. my lil girl. She's quick as lightening (still), so much so, that she can and does catch bats and brings them in the house....ALIVE! Oh and she's addicted to the cat crack, Temptations. I mean, BAD. You CANNOT walk past her without her vocally screaming at you to get her one.. I really wish there was some way to ween her off of them.. if not, she's gotta go to rehab.

Kudo is 9 years old and the spoiled one. Long beautiful hair & loves chirping. He FINALLY has caught his first mole this year.. after years and years of staring at the mole holes, last month I went outside in the nick of time. Kudo was walking past me (which made me look, cuz he always stops and talks to me) as if he was on a mission. Well, he was.. he had an adorable mole (still alive) dangling from his mouth. lol I grabbed his scruff and he dropped the mole, I then scooped the slobbery critter up and took him to the creek. I was a proud mama for sure!

Oh and each of them was rescued from really sh*tty conditions.

What a beautiful and handsome group.

Yeah, we are addicted to kitty crack too. Friskies Beachside Crunch. I bring out the dried cranberries for myself and get mauled until I let him smell the sack....Totally disgusted face...You eat those things!

I agree - what a gorgeous clowder. I would have used "gorgeous glaring" (the alternate plural) but they're too sweet for that.
