Glad everyone is enjoying them. Someday when I have more time, I will ty to find my better deer pictures that I think are on my other computer. I have some really neat shots of a mother and her baby fawn where the fawn still had its spots. I just dont know where the pics are right now, but I have them somewhere

This wackjob gurl is napping, nose-down, on the bedspread. Strange critter.

I wouldn't be surprised if she starts barking soon!

Love the photos. I love to see deer in the snow. Man, they are awesome.
Sweet puppy and a handsome turkey. Those feet look fatal.

    Re: For animal lovers

Well, I'm an "Old Cat Lady" (as so often described on certain websites during BB) and have never had dogs but I do see why people love them. I do have three Grand Dogs, Imara and Pongo, two sibling Rhodesian Ridgebacks and Lucy, a Mini Pincer. (Lucy hasn't the slightest idea she is a bit smaller.) The two Ridgebacks love me like crazy as is displayed when they see me. Gallump, gallump, gallump they will race up to greet me. A little scary 'til I got used to it. They're damn big doofuses. Lucy just barks a lot and zeroes in on DH who she knows will feed her under the table. But I don't really know so much about dogs as I do about my furry feline friends.

So, I found this really interesting article on Yahoo just now that I thought I could share. Scans Reveal Striking Similarity Between Human and Canine Minds (Op-Ed) There are links to other articles and a book where the subject of canines showing a similarity between the canine and human brain MRI activity are discussed. So interesting and if you look at the comments following the article, every respondent already knew that dogs think like us! They are dog people. And, bless them all for carrying a pooper scooper while I scoop out cat litter and my cats take their own selves for a walk. :>)

That is an interesting article, Punkin. It proves what all of us animal lovers already knew! Someday they will do a similar study of cats and find that they, too have nearly human emotions. The difference, I think, is that dogs love their humans more than they love themselves. Cats...not so much.
Whoever said diamonds are a girls best friend...never owned a dog.
