    Re: For animal lovers

My kitty newbies in my house are running around like chickens with no heads. They truly seem tickled to have a new home. Yes, they are driving me BATS! Juliebelle is the calmer of the two, but she is more submissive to Lola. When it's naptime, Lola Falana has to be physically touching me as much as possible; Juliebelle chooses to be under the bed. My Maine Coon welcomes them both; my "formerly feral" tolerates one much more than the other, but is much needier of my attention than before. Over all, I'd say we're doing all right.

I'd post pictures, but I don't know how.

My cats are all sprawled on the floor with this heat. Not very active at all. I have a fan, but no air conditioning.

Do you know if they like ice cubes in their water dish? That might be helpful.

And cooling! I promise you, I would never live anywhere without air conditioning or an automatic dishwasher! Label me 'prissy', if you will!

Dropped ice cubes are fun to bat around the kitchen floor.

I would have suggested that too ... except we had a power outage so nothing was working! Missed you all here.

Since I do have AC ... the house stayed fairly comfortable over night, but today it started to get really warm but then the power went on!
The dog was pretty much panting for 20 hours. Also, the smoke alarms started to chirp and drove her crazy until we could disarm them

Anyway ... "you don't know what you've got until you lose it."

    I love my AC.
