Your pets can be attuned also. It's very empowering for them because they can both self-treat plus treat their furparents if they wish. Cats are very sensitive to energy and often good healers in their own right. Reiki attunement gives them another tool. And you giving them reiki while sitting on your lap is another way to bond and make them feel really good.
I just watched an interview with a woman in Moore Oklahoma ... where a young woman rushed home from work to find her home gone. Shesaid her first thought was to find her dog and she pointed to the room where her dog was ... and the room was gone and the dog wasn't there.
She talked about all the wonderful people helping find anything salvageable. When the reporter said "I hope you find your dog". She started to cry and said "I know ... that's my baby". I know there are human babies gone ... but pets are family members too.
I know sometimes animals can escape but are temporarily displaced, I hope she finds her dog.
Prayers for the animals too!
Friday we had to put down our fourteen year old diabetic cat with no warning other than he's been diabetic for four years and things can always go wrong. Now tonight our perfectly healthy three and a half year old lab mix is in the ER overnight with what they are considering to be "something neurological". They have no ideas other than they will keep him and watch him all night and we need to find a neurologist first thing tomorrow. He started circling, leaning right when he did walk, walking right when he was trying to go straight and now I guess he is 'stargazing' where he just stares up instead of where he is going. I'm freaking out anyway, but magnified by losing our guy a few days ago. Does anyone have experience with anything like this??
Jamie5632 I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved cat. Pets aren't really pets in my opinion I believe they are our family members as much as anything.
Here's a picture of my bearded dragon and his new and cleaned cage. Attachment 29095
We've had him going on 5 years now and he seems to be attached to me and not my boyfriend which I don't mind..hehe...
Jamie my thoughts and prayers to you for the passing of feline to the Rainbow Bridge, as well as hoping for a good outcome for the lab.
Pwettybird -- it took me a minute to find him. Nice clean home. Do you turn the light off at night to simulate night time?
Thanks everyone. I feel better after meeting with the neurologist. He is optimistic that it is more a balance center issue versus a brain or spine issue. They are keeping him tonight and running tests tomorrow. Also, I'm feeling better about losing Chaser. He'd been dealing with diabetes for four plus years, which is rare, and he was such a great cat with so much love and sass that I'm grateful for every moment we had with him. We got him at eight weeks and I know he had a stellar life.
pwettybird ... he sure does blend into his clean new surroundings!
Jamie good that you are moving toward being at peace with losing Chaser ... and happy that things look hopeful for your lab.
