My brother was finally able to get pictures off of my SIL camera, since he now has a computer. but anyway he found a picture from winter 2009-2010, the ONLY picture in existence of my Joey and I together. When he gave me this I almost cried and he was so happy to be able to give it to me.Joey with Paul guess 2010.jpg

My neighbor cut down some wood for me that had been delivered too long, so yesterday I prepared the wood stove to use for the cold snap we're getting this week. I had to shovel out the ashes and clean the glass on the door so I could enjoy the view. Didn't Dexter hop right inside the stove to see what I was up to? Not for long.He hopped out trailing gray foot prints and sneezing. As soon as I lit the fire he was right there watching it. Then he stretched out on the floor in front of it. Before long, though, it was too warm so he came up on the chair to snuggle with me. Silly boy.

What a great photo!!!!!
Awwww... that pic brought tears to my eyes. Reminded me soooo much of my kitty that passed away 6 years ago of cancer. He was the most handsome... most playful... most loving cat also BEST GROOMED cat. I had to blow dry his fur before I could do my hair... and I had to brush his teeth before I could finish mine (of course with his own red tooth brush... he would hit his brush to remind me it was his brush). I am not kidding when I say/type this... he would actually expose his teeth to make sure I got them all... and when I would vacuum the rugs... he would want me to run the brush over his body. Lastly... he would be upset if I didn't mention that he was a better pool player than I was. He was a real hussler!
