Thanks guys. Oliver is not only a handsome dude, but he's incredibly sweet...and maybe a little too smart for his own (or is it my own?) good. You can't see his adorable spotted tummy in that picture. He's prone to flopping on his back and showing it off. He gets plenty of ear skritches and belly rubs and is totally spoiled. My cousin once told me that when she dies, she wants to be reincarnated as one of my cats! :lol
MRD - stories of animals in the aftermath of natural disasters just have me in tears. When they were forcing people to evacuate during Katrina and making them leave their pets, I felt so heartbroken for them. I can't imagine that they would have gotten me to leave. They would have had to hog tie me AND arrest me!
