I'm in a picture posting mood this morning. This is Libby, my Jack Russell Terrier on Christmas morning 2001 when she was 3 1/2. She was enjoying her new dog blanket present. It is exhausting supervising present opening after all.

Such a sweetie Mariner!
And Gut, if interested in Bo - here's another selling point, she has a major foot fetish and this means she gives AMAZING foot massages, it's unbeleivable. I get them the minute I take my shoes off after work. And the resuce guy said he's had adoptees come from Georgia for these kitties. . .
onto that - this guy is amazing when it comes to rescuing the kitties and getting them spaid, etc. But boy, he does'nt know asthetics! just look at the picture he posted for one of the cats
and compare that to one I took of my foster, to show him how appealing these guys Could look (attached image). Luckily, he's coming around and we were up until midnight one night this week going over how to better represent these animals.

Question for all you knowledgeable animal lovers. I was at a dinner last night where I'd clearly had too much wine because I said I'd consider perhaps adopting a male Yorkshire Terrier. Apparently, he doesn't do that well with little kids. I don't know much about Yorkies. Any advice? It might not work anyway because my Jack Russell is a wee bit spoiled.

Mariner I'm all in favor of you getting a Yorkie to keep you and, more important, Libby company!!!
On Friday night I sent a friend some info on DC area Yorkie Rescue groups and as I researched that I came across this national link, which may give some interesting Yorkie info.
Yorkie Rescue Info - National
I seem to recall that J.D. had a wonderful Yorkie at one time, so maybe she will give you some advice, too.
Good luck and GO FOR IT!!!
