We didn't get any snow. Just cold rain/sleet and some icy roads. Henry is having NO part of this. He didn't even emerge from underneath the electric blanket when Mr. Doxie came home with and other survival supplies!

None of my 3 dogs really like snow, but the two boy dogs love to "leave their mark" on any snow piles, lol. My crazy mutt Chico used to love snow, he would stick his nose in it at least 40 times every time we went outside. Now that's he's older, I guess it doesn't have the same appeal.

Louie loves the snow. He'll stick his face in the snow, and when he comes out all you can do is laugh. He'll chase snowballs all day long if he could, and when he gets it, he puts his paw on top of it, if it breaks apart he sniff's like a mad dog wondering where it is. He'll look for the highest snowpile (he's a 12 pound shitzu), to pee, and he'll gallop along the boulevard in deep snow rather than a shovelled sidewalk.

But heaven forbid if its raining, he won't walk near puddles or get his paws wet, he'll walk around a puddle or if there's too much water he looks at me which is a signal to pick him up.

It's amazing how animals train people.
