    Poor POOR Henry!

He was peacefully napping under the electric blanket when I stripped the bed linens off to be washed. He had JUST gotten over that trauma when Enemy #1 (vacuum cleaner) came roaring past. He then fled to the back yard where he encountered Enemy #2 (lawnmower). Now, it is about to storm and I have removed the cover off of his bed under my desk so that I can wash that too. Henry will probably collapse from all of this misery and take to his bed for the rest of the weekend!

Or our own place to beLONG!

Henry's night went from bad to worse. While we were washing the covers of the multiple dog beds and cushions, Henry "took against" what was left of Simon's "orthopedic" dog bed. Simon had pretty much done that thing in, but Henry clawed and scratched until there were little pieces of "orthopedic" foam ALL over the floor. Mr. Doxie had just cleaned the floor and he was not happy. So, he yelled at Henry I really wish I had gotten a picture of Henry because he bolted upstairs and curled up under my desk in the corner with his back to us. Drama King wouldn't even look at us! FINALLY, his bed/cushion came out of the laundry and Mr. Doxie coaxed Henry out with some cheese and put the cushion back. Henry is happier this morning AND he has surround sound in his "tunnel" because he has somehow managed to pull one of my speakers off of the desk.

Awwww. Button. You know I have a soft spot for Mastiffs. How is Button doing? Is she adjusting? She sure looks happier.
