When I caught her, it was in our bathroom downstairs. I fussed and put the lid down.
I thought she had quit drinking out of the toilet, but noticed her water bowl was never empty. I checked in the upstairs bathroom, nobody uses, and sure enough, the toilet had about 2 inches of water in it.
Now I go up there and kept it full for her. I have to be very careful when I clean it and flush several times. She gets very upset with me.

My cat does it, too. To the point of almost falling in. He doesn't do it often, though.

ITG: what cute pics. I love calicos. I had one when I was a little girl.

ITG - hilarious pictures. I have a relative who "potty trained" her cats... Very funny until I spent a weekend there and had to share a bathroom with cats who cannot flush the potty

Mr. Doxie and I spent most of Saturday planting our veggie garden. We let the dogs out first thing Sunday morning so that they could enjoy the beautiful weather. Henry waddled straight into the veggie garden and flopped over on the poor little okra plants. I removed him but he did the same thing over and over all day. We now have flat okra.

I'm guessing Henry does not like okra.

I think Henry loves okra, too much and in the wrong way.

Our kitty Shadow is more of a hunting kind of a cat. He loves us so much that he brought back a poor little yellow finch and laid it right on the welcome mat for us to find. When I went to let him in and saw what he had done he just looked up at me like 'this is how much I love you, now give me a belly rub.' Sigh...

Hopefully your okra isnt ruined or anything. Goofy kitties... maybe he was just trying to help in his odd little kitty way

    Um, Henry is not a kitty . . .

The first year that I had Bjorn, he helped plant the potatoes. I dug trenches and flooded them to pre-soak the ground. Bjorn was more than happy to monitor the depth of water, which he did by running back and forth through the trenches. Later, when I was setting the seed potatoes in the trenches, he very helpfully started picking them up and bringing them back to me. Such a good boy!
