queenb- congrats on your new addition. He is darling and I LOVE the black stripe down his back and tail. Such handsome markings Looking forward to hearing what you name him and I hope that Boo-boo adjusts well to her new "brother".... Ohhh... Maybe you should name him Bubba!!!!

What a handsome fellow, queenb! I'm sure he's going to be a wonderful addition to your family. (Looking at that last picture, I have the strangest urge to squish his belly. I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate that at all. lol.)

Queenb, what a beautiful kitty! I can't believe people still declaw cats these days. So horribly cruel. I'm so glad kitty has a furever home now.

Happy Gotcha Day, you striped cutie.

Thanks, y'all...and dammit, agamergirl, every time I see your AV it makes me jump!
Brunette trixie, the kitty is still a little nervous but will flip for belly rubs at the drop of a hat.
I'm going to wait a little while to see what name he will develop--they usually develop one within a couple of weeks at most. At first, though it's something I wouldn't really call him , I was calling him Cat, Dot Tom. .
    Now, he is temporarily Spotacus.

    Re: For animal lovers

I think Spotacus is a great name!!!

Just a quick update on Simon - it's been about a month since he was diagnosed with liver failure. He's having some mobility problems (vet says that could be because of the liver or just because of old age - he is 15) but he's also still eating well and he hasn't lost any more weight in the last two weeks. We're still spoiling him with his beloved Arby's about once a week and he has really been enjoying sleeping in the sunshine on our patio.

Henry has been waddling through the yard attempting to catch lizards. Most of the lizards sit on the fence and stare at Henry while he barks at them (and yes, he can bark/howl while LAYING DOWN in the grass ). He finally managed to catch a lizard the other day, but I am pretty sure that it was an old, slow, dumb lizard that somehow got lost and wandered into Henry's mouth.
