    We have an owl hooting outside our bedroom at night and I'm not normally superstitious, but that old wives tale about owls has me totally freaked out when I hear the owl.
    I love listening to owls. I've heard them raising hell on my roof several times, and as far as I know, I haven't died yet.

    I am happy to report that (knock on wood.... ) the demonic woodpecker seems to have moved on! We had some really rough weather early this morning and I think he is gone with the wind. Hopefully, he is several states away by now!

    Henry has taken to his bed again. He was hauled outside in the rain this morning and he was not happy. But, he is actually SHARING his electric blanket with Simon this afternoon.

    The boys are sharing, how sweet. Rosie's not happy either. Rain and 40 degree weather, she's in the warm bed too.

    when we put up the new blinds she was not very happy. She isn't able to just jump into them because they are thick wood now. She gets miffed at me but I pull them up so she can get up there and chase the birds in her head!
