Yes! He's too lazy to move out from under the blanket or even sit up to growl at that thing! I seriously may need to borrow a cat from one of y'all. This woodpecker thinks it is a ROOSTER and starts pecking away at the crack of dawn.

And, Mr. Doxie SAID he was just taking Henry & Simon for a ride to go get gas for the lawnmower. All three of them looked guilty and smelled like curly fries when they got home though.....

I'm glad Joey is enjoying the sunshine too

The Canada Geese are back and active in our neighbourhood. They really slow up traffic as they never, and I mean never, are in a hurry to cross the road. I was behind a car yesterday and a guy actually got out of his car and started trying to shoo them across the road. If it is possible for geese to look disdainful, these ones did

Kind of a "talk to the wing" thing, I would be guessing?

Okay, Gabriel I'll throw the camera in the car. They really just saunter across the road and give off a "mona look". I have waited more than a few minutes for them to cross a lane. It's cuter later in Spring when they have their offspring in tow. And yes, definitely a "talk to the wing" thing. They aren't even afraid of my Mastiff when I am out walking her. These birds have serious attitude.

It will stop soon--he's advertising for a "hen". He will stop as soon as he finds one
I have found the Truth and it doesn't make sense.

I wish him the best. I seriously hope that he and his hen do NOT raise a nest of loud little 'peckers anywhere near here though.

i have also discovered that most of the species of woodpeckers in Alabama are endangered.... I know why if they all act like this one!

    Re: For animal lovers

I bought a "Turbo Scratcher" today. It's the circular think with the sisal in the center, and the ball that rolls around the outside track. Miss Chloe decided to sit her fat arse right in the middle of it, do her most menacing growls, and refuses to let any of the other gurls play with it. She is being an incredible jerk! I also bought a "Scratch Box", and she decided to go lay on that unless she saw any of the other gurls getting near the Turbo Scratcher. Suddenly, it was HERS again! She is being a pain!!
