SO do we get an update or did I miss it?Originally Posted by myrosiedog;3291791;
No, bad mom has not made the appointment yet. Trying to get the humans all well in the house right now. I finally have some free time that isn't taken up by sleeping, school, homework and work and buying Alka Seltzer cold plus by the ton and I'll call tomorrow to set it up. But his gums look GREAT now, so the infection is all gone. Just need to get him in to the vet before any infection comes back.Originally Posted by gabriel;3306052;

Well at least we are getting somewhere and you followed your second thoughts. Good mommy.
Thanks. I do feel much better about following my instincts.
Bad daddy forgot the dogs and left them out for 45 min. in the very, very cold last night. Rosie was NOT happy.
So it makes me feel good when you call me a good mommy because I have to rub it in to bad daddy.![]()

THIS is for BAD DADDY! : (or put your T shirt on)Originally Posted by myrosiedog;3306319;
I brought Monet in to the Vet this week as I kept seeing small drops of blood on bedspread, etc. As Monet is borderline CRF and I los my last cat to CRF, I was concerned. Vet couldn't find anything wrong. Then he had an AHA!! moment when I asked that they clip Monet's long nails. Seems on his front paws, the thumbs had gotten so long they were growing back into the skin thereby causing the blood.
Because of MRD's problems with animal's breath, I asked Vet to check Monet's mouth/teeth, also.
The good news - Monet's teeth and everything else is fine.
The bad news - Monet still has some of the worst cat breath ever.![]()
Have you tried brushing Monets' teeth?
I didn't need the shirt, Rosie has managed to appropriate "The Look" quite well on her own.
I'm glad Monet is ok, but I have a hard time trying to picture a cat getting it's teeth brushed. I'm still wondering how much they drug the cats on tv that advertise that nail sharpening tool.![]()

Oh you must try to get a picture.Originally Posted by myrosiedog;3306460;
you and me both. Joey would go running just from the noise. As for the teeth brushing, I just wait til he is snoozing and real gently start brushing... He only gets brushed about once every other week.Originally Posted by myrosiedog;3306460;
