    Re: For animal lovers

Today, Henry was asleep in the bedroom and I had forgotten to turn off the tv in there. I heard a LOT of ferocious growling, so I went to check on him. Henry had emerged from under the electric blanket and he was standing in the middle of the bed and FURIOUSLY growling at the television. The hair all the way down his long back was standing up. It seems that he is not a big fan of professional bull riding. That is what was on tv and he was quite upset! I was pretty amazed - usually it takes the sound of the fridge opening to get him to come out from under that blanket!

Puppy Bowl is Sunday on Animal Planet around 2 or 3..... I don't usually watch much of this but a parrot is supposedly "singing" the national anthem and that will probably be more fun than some of the people performing at the Super Bowl!

The Puppy Bowl is hysterical, they have kittens as cheerleaders.

And those kittens are a LOT cuter than most of the skanky looking NFL cheerleaders!

I still get a kick out of the movie The Replacements when they use the strippers for cheerleaders.

I have never seen the Puppy Bowl. I will have to watch. Much rather hear a parrot sing the National Anthem than some pop star who has to inject "soul" into it. I'm sorry, the Star Spangled Banner doen't need soul. It has it already just the way it was written.

I wish I could see the Puppy Bowl, but Animal Planet in Canada doesn't air it.

Puppy Bowl was fun. I missed the parrot the first time that the show aired, but caught it later. The "Bissell Kitty Halftime Show" was hilarious. I'm pretty sure that some of those kittens thought that the confetti was kitty litter..... Henry was "tailgating" and pretty much ignored the Puppy Bowl & Super Bowl because he was more interested in the snacks!

I missed it. I got busy and forgot about it. Do you think they will show it again.
I'm glad Henry got to tailgate.

Have any of you guys seen the Kitty Cam live cam? It has been very entertaining watching the demons. Well, right now, the "Kitty Cam" has puppies on it, since all of the kittens have been removed from the Cam area to be surgically prepared for a big adooption promotion. The puppies (I only saw 3) are a hoot, too! I put this on for computer chill time, when I'm relaxing. I can post the link if anyone is interested.
