PGM, your boxers are beautiful. When I was a kid, we had a beautiful Boxer. We actually showed him at the Armory when he was young. Losing him was 1 of the saddest days of my childhood.

Boxers are great dogs but I am biased! They are very loving and smart! I thought they would be friendly around my family at Christmas time but they were way too obnoxious for my mom. She doesn't like dog slobber. We had to put the dogs away while they were here. Good thing it was a short visit.

    Cute photo of the boys.

Gabriel, doesn't Waldo look very deboniar at the top of the stairs? He must be growing up as he's not nearly as goofy as he used to be. He's still a character though and lately, he's been snoring so loud we can't hear the tv. But hey, I remember almost 2 years ago when we got him and he wouldn't sleep long enough to snore. The poor thing was so out of sorts, he paced and slept in short stretches.
That is the word I was looking for but my mind blanked. He really looks like he has "matured". Have you estimated his age? I thought I saw that somewhere in the past posts but cannot recall.

PGM35Those are some great cute pictures. You should be proud of your 4 legged kids.

Thanks gabriel (and mrd and norealityhere!). I took Jaxi to the vet last week and he said she was the perfect shape of a boxer. He took a photo of her for her file and said her coat is so shiny and healthy, whatever you are doing to this kid, keep it up! We feed them Purina One and I guess that is why they have smooth, silky coats. He said she was the perfect weight too. Made me beam with pride.

    Re: For animal lovers

Gabriel, the vet said 2 years ago that they thought he was 2 years old, so that should make him about 4. He has really matured a lot most of the time. He is so different in the new house. Much more protective and assured of himself. I think he sees the new house as being equal to all and the old house was Rosie and Bogie's house. But he's so protective that it's driving me crazy. VERY protective of us from the neighbors. That's the chow in him I think.

Last night he and Bogie were running around the yard playing doggie tag and I was up on the porch (the porch is almost on the 2nd story) and Bogie decided that it had to be home base, so he ran up the stairs and was taunting Waldo from between the railing as Waldo stood on the ground below looking up and doing his "play" growling and prancing around. It was so funny. Bogie then ran back down the stairs and they took off again.
