My grand daughter got a fuzzy little chair for her birthday. Well, our Pug, Roxie, has decided that it's her chair and she keeps crawling up in it and going to sleep. All I heard all weekend was, "Get outta my chair!". I'm not sure which one will win the battle in the end, but watching it has been interesting.

And I thought that Henry was a ham! I agree with everyone else, Lil Bit. You need another chair! Roxie is adorable

I know some of you here know I have a Springer spaniel named Abbie. Well, Abbie had to be put down today. She was 2 weeks shy of her 14th birthday. I miss her terribly and telling my daughter was torture. But it was time and she was too good of a friend and pooch to let her suffer. She had dementia and was incontinent and was declining rapidly. Although it was so hard to do, I know in my heart it was the right decision. I will miss her. Please hug your poochies tonight for me & Abbie.

I'm so sorry to hear that you have had to let your beautiful Abbie go. It was time. And you know that she's bouncing around feeling as good as new at Rainbow Bridge.

Tell her to say to my cousin's samoyed Kona. He's only been there a short while and I don't think he knows too many others.

well, we don't get to see the cute grandkid, but I agree that you just HAVE to go get a second chair, Lil Bit!

That's my little angel in my avatar. I was planning on getting Roxie a new dog bed for Christmas anyway. I'll have to see if I can find something similar. What do you bet they will probably fight over the dog bed too?

Josey is home and seems none the worse for wear. She is not pleased that I've been trying to fit her for a Gentle Leader collar. It has to be a fairly tight fit on her neck, and she really dislikes that there is a loop that goes over her muzzle. It should be interesting the first time that we try to go for a walk with her wearing it. She'll have to learn to live with it--she has no leash manners, and she can't do any running around for at least a month while the heartworms break down and are removed from her system. I expect a lot of fussing and crying and whining; Josey will probably be unhappy, too.
