Gee, Rosie shouldn't be deprived just because the "guys" are party-poopers!
That poor little dog in the turkey suit. He sure doesn't look happy!
I also like the kitty going to the "adult table"!
Thanks, Gabriel - I'll keep posting ...

I never met a piece of chocolate I didn't like.
We were at The Dollar Store/Dollar Tree last weekend and they had little santa hats, elf hats and reindeer antlers for "small pets".... I thought about Rosie, but figured that she would rather have a tiara or a crown.....Originally Posted by myrosiedog;3242584;
Henry & Simon love Christmas too. My mother knitted stockings for both of her "granddogs" - and they KNOW that there are gifts in the near future when they see the stockings being hung up!
I'm now trying to convince my mother to knit a sweater for Henry. I found a book of dog sweater patterns called "Dog Gone Knit"....![]()

It turns out that Josey tests positive for heart worm, and so she will be staying with me for a couple of months. She gets two injections (one today and one tomorrow,) and then has to remain more-or-less inactive for a month or so while all of the crud gets worked out of her system. That will give me time to get her groomed up (she has some matting) and to teacher her some basic manners. It should be interesting. I'll try to get a few pictures of her--she is a sweet little (about 100 pounds) girl.

I know some of you here know I have a Springer spaniel named Abbie. Well, Abbie had to be put down today. She was 2 weeks shy of her 14th birthday. I miss her terribly and telling my daughter was torture. But it was time and she was too good of a friend and pooch to let her suffer. She had dementia and was incontinent and was declining rapidly. Although it was so hard to do, I know in my heart it was the right decision. I will miss her. Please hug your poochies tonight for me & Abbie.

Maryneth I'm so sorry.![]()
MaryBeth, I'm so sorry about Abbie.
Newf, get some pics of the new girl and let us know how the manners training goes.
How does Gustav like her?

(Who loves me will love my dog also)
marybethp, I'm so sorry about Abbie. She was a very regal looking lady. It's so hard to say goodbye, but at least you know she's not in any pain now.
marybethp - My heart goes out to you and your family. Abbie had 14 wonderful years with a loving family. What you did was a very very selfLESS thing to let Abbie run free to the Rainbow Bridge. Bless you and Thank You. Joey will be getting a hug from me for Abbie right now.
