Reality is the beginning...not the end....Wallace Stevens
He doesn't look to thrilled in that first picture.
I am wearing the same slippers you have on in that last one, MRD. That made me laugh out loud.
He who laughs last thinks slowest
Maybe we should chug on over to namby pamby land where we can find some self confidence for you, you jackwagon!
I think Waldo looks very handsome with his new haircut.
History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people. Martin Luther King, Jr.
MRD: I'm so glad that Waldo is free of his fleas. Meowza! Where did all his fur go? He looks so silky and shiny now! I'll bet Waldo feels so much better!
prhoshay: I've discovered that I need different brushes for each of my babies. Mr. Tootles is long-hair and really needs his Love2Pet brush! Miss Gracie likes her little roller hairbrush. And Bella has just gotten started getting used to a little comb. She has quite long fur that's beginning to tangle so she's going to have to graduate to a gentler brush soon!
gabriel: Joseph always looks wonderful; coming or going!
I have got to figure out how to clip my babies nails...they are all getting very long and starting to catch on things. Trouble is, it usually take two or three people to get it done.![]()
Live simply ~ Love generously~ Care deeply~ Speak kindly
He has not been thrilled. I think like Samson, he lost his happy go lucky, bubbly personality with his haircut. He's been moping about since he got clipped.
It'll grow back.
Hubby said looking at Waldo reminds him of getting his head shaved when he joined the Army. Maybe Waldo's upset because he thinks we're shipping him off to basic training.![]()

My boy Chauncy didn't like it when I would shave him. The first couple of days he always froze to death and had to be covered with a blanket when he slept as he would honestly shiver.Poor thing.
After a couple of days though he would really start enjoying it and act like a little puppy, the goofball.

Waldo looks very handsome with his new cut. Dogs always looks so much more puppy like when their hair is shorter.
My dalmatian Suki will never need a haircut, her hair is so short. And does she ever shed! My gosh I read that dalmatians shed a lot, but there is nothing like seeing a vacuum canister of dog hair to make you believe.
Waldo sheds a lot and the recent move just reinforced that. Now, i thought i was a decent housekeeper, but as we started moving the furniture, I found gobs of Waldo hair. I could have knitted 2-3 more dogs from all that hair. So we decided to not let the new house get that way, plus with the knots he had and the flea problem, this was a good time.
Unk, he has not panted like a choo-choo train since we got him cut. he' not cold, but now he's no longer hot.
