Here goes my mind.....Mona Lott sounds like a direction from an adult film director.

    Great drag queen name, too!

Actually my friend Bill Had named both Miss Mona Lott and Layona Davenport after two drag queens he knew.

The stories of the names are awesome! How great an opener that is if someone you don't know is talking about their cat's name....

    Re: For animal lovers

Oh, what a great name: Miss Mona Lott! Except she is more like Miss Purra Lott!

She's been a great little girl today. I've registered her as Tatiana on the City Pound site, "tatty" for short as she was a bit tattered when I found her. They have 97 cats at the pound. I think she's been lost or abandoned for longer than I thought.

I honestly cannot keep her. Four kitties in this little house is crowded and I don't want to upset my current 3. And my family is already coming down on me hard for even bringing her home for a night. The big problem I have is that I'm going out of town on Monday for a week. My Dad can handle my 3 babies, but not the house with another new kitty too. It is a bit much to ask.

I'm going to try to find a rescue organization that can foster her for a week until I'm back. Then I can actively try to find a new home for her. She is such a sweet kitty, I don't want to put her into an already crowded system.

My humane society/metro animal shelter says this is the worst kitten season that they have ever seen. They've even lowered their prices on cat adoptions for the kittens and older cats.
