| Re: For animal lovers Does anyone know anything about radiation iodine treatment for hperthyroid in cats? My 14yr old Tigger cat is going in on Tues to have her hyperthyroid tumor treated with radioactive iodine. It is an injection, and because the iodine is not absorbed anywhere else in the body except the thyroid, the radioactive material goes directly there. I am not too worried about that part, but she had been on thyroid medication for about four months and is just maintaining her thyroid levels of before we started. We stopped the medication last tues. However, yesterday she began sneezing whenever she is up wandering around and I am a bit worried. She acts like there is something stuck in her nose. Maybe it as nothing to do with the thyroid  Any comments or experiences?

| Re: For animal lovers jelle, I don't think the sneezing has a thing to do with her thyroid-I wouldn't worry. Domention it to the vet while you're there, just to make sure. misskitty, I love the pictures, but I have to tell you, I am truly jealous of your dirt! It's beautiful...I'm going to dream of tomatoes as big as softballs now, growing in that dirt.

| Carolyn and Kona | Re: For animal lovers jelle: I'm sorry, but I'd have to go with gabriel's suggestion and call the vet for more information. gutmutter: sadly, the dirt will be going back into the hole. Then the 6 buckets of topsoil that I dug out and packed away will go on top of that, along with several perrenials that have been sitting in pots waiting to be replanted. I don't want y'all to be bored by these amateur attempts at videos, but we are enjoying playing around with youtube and Henry is there for all to see if you want to check him out.
