I wear eye makeup & have since late in high school. Face, not so much, just blush & a little neutral lipstick. It's a part of who I am & a part of getting up in the morning, kind of like brushing my hair.
When I was married my then husband used to get upset when I put on eye makeup even to go camping or other outdoor activities. He'd say "The animals don't care what you look like & if you have makeup on." I'd say "But I do!".
That's the way I look at it. I don't do it for others, I do it because I like the way I look with it, & don't like the way I look without it.
It's all about feeling good about yourself.
It's common knowledge so I didn't think it was necessary to go into detail. If you diet yourself into a nice looking middle-aged ass, your face will suffer for it because a layer of fat keeps one's face from shrivelling up.Quote:
