    Living in Florida is soooo fun!

    Well, it really isn't anything special. Unless you live in Orlando, Miami, or Tampa, life here isn't a big party. All I have is the beach, but there are tons of other states with beaches!

    I couldn't agree with you more, Mdrio9. I hate to insult anyone's state of residence, but I just lived in Borelando, errrr Orlando, for 3 years and the only things I liked were my job, my boss and the few friends I made. I tried to adjust, I really did, but I guess my heart it in the mountains rather than the sticky, icky humid flatness of Florida.

    Ahh, so even Orlando isn't anything special. I forgot to mention the humidity...thanks GG. Plus, during the summer, it rains a lot. The beach is only good for a few hours before it rains for the rest of the day. It's all due to that humidity. Grrr!

    That's right, Leo. And that particular misconception stemmed from a Disney produced nature documentary from the 1950s in which filmmaker James R. Simon notoriously faked the lemming "suicide" footage with imported lemmings not even native to the area in which it was shot.

    THis thread is so interesting. I didn't know that about the podium/lecturn.
    If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
    It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.
