Seriously, I think it would be very hard to be a surrogate, and someone who does, must be very special.I couldn't give them away no matter what the genetics were.
Eggs sure, no problem. It's a minor inconvenience to give a special gift. Sperm well thats pretty EZ, but I think that would have to be personal decision for the donor themselves.
As someone who was first branded unable to have kids, then turned out to be a real breeder, I have looked at both sides. I have no problem with monetary compensation on anyones part as long as its voluntary. A couple offering 10,000 for surrogacy, being turned back a la make it 20 and you have a deal, makes me queasy.
