I was so surprised when I go it. I went for a ride on it and man am I ever out of shape. I have wanted one for a long time but never would spend the money on it. I was very pleased.

Restful christmas this year

I got an MP3 player. I've never had one before so I'm excited to try it out! Also got a digital photo key ring. It displays photos on a 1 and a half inch screen.

I got various other little gifts. My family and I didn't have much to spend so our main gift was spending a few days together. I baked some cookies and we had a nice Christmas meal of our holiday favorites (turkey, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, etc).

I would rather have the food and fellowship over the gifts. My family had a lot of laughs this year over dinner and after. That meant more to me than any gift. BTW I did like my new bicycle and have been riding it. That gift is a means to an end.....meaning getting my rear out and exercising and hopefully losing some weight and shaping up this year.....lol

I was thrilled to have 3 Christmas visits-1. My mom and sisters (and families), 2. My fiance's family, and 3. my fiance and my sons. All were filled with love and joy! Just what I wanted and needed this year!

An Acer netbook, a necklace, and a Kenmore sewing machine. Also, a whole whack of bath stuff and chocolates. Christmas kind of rocked this year, I feel like I cleaned up.

Oh, my favourite gift from my preteen daughter, all wrapped up in a beautiful box, I found this poem she wrote:

Cheap Gift
Merry Christmas, Mum.
I hope you find some
Happiness and cheer,
cause I didn't get you a gift this year.
I would have spent my money and time,
on something better than this rhyme.
But, alas, I decided to spend it on me,
and I made you this for free.
I guess this is all you're getting,
and if you find it quite upsetting...
You'll just have to suck it up.
And frame it. Yup.
