    Yes. They get this hormone from the urine of pregnant women. It is cleaned seperated and processed, of course. That is the source.

    It's a hormone we all produce, but pregnancy dramatically increases its production. It basically controls a pregnant woman's metabolism. It releases "abnormal" fat. You can read a little about it here:

    A lot of women use Hormone Replacement Therapy.....and one of those is Premarin, which is short for Pregnant Mare Urine. It too is processed/cleaned ,etc. So if a lot of people use horse urine, why be squeemish about this?
