Going to mosey down to the end of the street and watch the fireworks over Lake Ontario. That's about it other than a nice BBQ today.
Where's the cottage? Long time friends of mine have a cottage in Gravenhurst, I'm going in August. I've been going up every year for 25 yrs.Originally Posted by cablejockey;3958535;

2 hour wait to cross from Ft Erie to Buffalo at 8 am this morning! Glad I wasn't anywhere near there! Should be a good time down at the friendship festival between Buffalo NY and Ft Erie Ontario boarders!
I spent a lovely Canada day watching Mr. Rattus load my new iPod with a bunch of albums, and then I danced around the house for a bit to Robyn Hitchcock, the Violent Femmes, Monochrome Set, Lowest of the Low, and Southern Culture on the Skids. Not much, but I enjoyed it. We're also off tomorrow, so a hike along the bluffs and then dinner at Papillon.
And so it begins, the end of times..
I LOVE the Violent Femmes; they're my "homeboys" (and the dad of the lead singer was my director in community theater)! Sounds like a fun day.Originally Posted by Rattus;3959442;

I'm thinking if Canada and America joined forces, we could have a heck of a 4 day party! July 1-4. Whatcha think?![]()
