The Ravalli County Fair is where I want to go.

I don't think highway driving is easy at all. I think I have driven on one once and it was way too fast. I didn't like it. As I write this I think 'poor Montana!'
Beef Jerky is everywhere in Montana. As easy as finding a Hershey Bar. If you get lucky you may even see some homemade Elk Jerky or Deer Jerky at the Fair. Go for it, you won't regret it.

As to the highway, you will be surprised at the difference in traffic between here & NYC. Not even a remote comparison. While the speed limit here is 75 on highways, the traffic is light, even at the busiest times. The only scary thing is the semi truckers that drive like a bat out of hell. Going South from Missoula, like you will be, I doubt there will be too many truckers, or even much traffic for that matter. There's not all sorts of interchanges or confusing turnoffs. Just get on the Highway going South. It's a straight path & easy to find the right turnoff. Just look for the signs. It's pretty simple. Even for someone not used to driving highways, it's an easy drive.

    Thank you!

As easy as finding a Hershey bar? Sounds like heaven!

You made me feel better about the driving too. I'm sure I will be fine. Adventure!

When I went out to pick up a few groceries yesterday evening, I thought of you & picked up a pack of Beef Jerky - Teriyaki. Yum.

Big love! However I am jealous, I order beef jerky because all we have is 'slim jims' and not that I am an expert on jerky, but I know that slim jim is the White Castle of jerky.

Where I work, there's a vendor in one of our buildings: House of Jerky and Root Beer. Weird inventory and very nice people.
Lemme see if I can find a link … hmmm … they're so "niche" that they don't have an actual website. Here's a link to their Facebook page:

I almost picked up beef jerky because of you, too! My favorite is buffalo jerky from Trader Joe's. It's a little bit spicy so I don't eat too much at once.

*SIGH* I miss beef jerky. Ever since I had a TON of dental work last year, I stay away from beef jerky. I miss it. It used to be one of my favorite treats.

Ellen! That looks like so much fun!

The jerky I buy is Field Trip Jerky - All Natural Beef Jerky

Back to vacation topic I signed up for a cattle drive. Happiness!

Heh! Yup! 'Cause that's where the cowboys are!

Move 'em on, head 'em out Rawhide!
Set 'em out, ride 'em in
