When does the tryptophan-induced haze wear off? I'm the only one awake in this household. Hubby and sister in law zonked out on the couch. Must be the one who did all the cooking and dishes gets to stay awake!!!!!

Hey! The cook never has to do the dishes. I'm pretty sure that's a law.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, just rousing from that tryptophan haze (which I enjoyed after cooking and doing clean-up)!

Hope you all enjoyed a safe and love filled holiday!

The cook's husband could not stay awake that long. In any case, when the cook's husband does the dishes around here, I need a big sponge to clean up the splashes. However, I'll dig into the law books today!!!!

Oh man, I am so happy with my decision to buy dinner. Took about 15 min to get wrappers off and get it in the oven to reheat. Came in pans that went straight from oven to table to refrigerator, so clean up was a snap. Used TG themed paper plates and napkins, so only had to wash glasses, silver and the platter we put the turkey on.
And it tasted great. Best, hassle free TG ever. Yeah, I missed a couple of the traditional things I usually make and while the dressing was ok, it's not mine (which I happen to think is awesome), BUT, this totally suited our purposes this year and I may well do it again.
The cost, convenience and taste were great.

Hope all of you have a great day.
