Was at the hospital with my sister most of the day.
She could barely stand or walk and thougt she had a major blood clot. Seems to be irritation of the nerves that supply the spinal cord. Dr. thinks she'll improve soon. She's still ticked 'cause she can't really drink with all the meds she got.
I thought it was muscular from the outset, but I am extremely glad that the Dr. confirmed that.
A lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving and, many additional thanks to all my Fort friends for their continuing support!!

Give her a gentle hug and a kiss for me. That must have been scary for her.
I'm up early finishing the drying process on the bread for the stuffing. My daughter made the stock for the gravy yesterday by roasting two turkey legs with 5 different root vegetables, then boiling them for hours with herbs and straining them all out. Then she further reduced the liquid. It's down to about 2 cups but I have never tasted anything like it. She'll add the turkey drippings and a medium brown roux to finish it off. This is just the gravy!!!!!

You guys are cracking me up. The GS-his name is Remus and I are best buds now. I brought him kong stuffed with some raw hamburger. Who doesn't enjoy a good steak tartare? He even responded to my german commands!
