I will miss hearing about Zac and his funny stories. He was a brave and wonderful kid, and I hope you keep telling us stories about him. I never met Zac (heck, I've never even met you!) but I'm just devastated to hear Zac is gone.

Oh no! I haven't been visitng FORT a lot since I became a mom, but I was aware of Zac's illness and kept him in my thoughts. I really did think he'd pull through and am absolutely devastated to see this thread. Unk, you and your family are in my heart. Losing a child is something no one should have to go through; I'm at a loss for words.

I haven't be online the last couple of days and just now saw the news about Zac. Oh, Unk, words can't express how sorry I am. I extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family. I hope you are comforted by the memories you have of Zac, the amount of time you spent with him, and how special your presence must have made him feel. I believe that God has a plan for each one of us. Just imagine how many lives Zac has touched. There's no way you could possibly know how many people read the Caring Bridge Journal, passed the information along, and how it affected other people.
