Love and peace to you and your family Unklescott. When my father died, I found enormous comfort in the book, Life After Life. I know I've mentioned it before here, but will recommend it again for anyone dealing with the loss of a loved one.
    Count your blessings!

    Unk -
I just read about Zac on his caringbridge page. My sincere condolences to you and your family. I have enjoyed hearing all of your Zac stories. What a fantastic kid! I agree that he has had a great affect on the many people he has touched with his story and his wonderful personality.

Unk and family-- so sorry to hear of Zac's passing. You've all shown such incredible strength over the last year. Rest in peace, Zac, now that you are free of cancer's awful clutches.

Unk, I'm so sorry. I know there isn't anything I can say to make you feel any better about all of this. Paul sends his condolences as well. We've both been caught up in the Caring Bridge updates and were hoping and praying for the best. Zac was an amazing little fighter and I know he loved and appreciated all you did to show your love to him. You guys did a wonderful job of making sure that he was surrounded by love when he passed. He touched the hearts of people all over the country. I'll never forget about him.

The first thing I've been doing is coming home & checking to see if there are any updates on Zac. And while it's heartbreaking to hear this news, I happen to be listening to Rhamaninov's Rhapsody by Pagnini and I'm somehow being uplifted, as I hope Zac's family & friends are.

    What terrible news.
Zac was such a brave little chap. I'm sure you all feel very proud and privileged to have known him and to have had a place in his heart.
I don't think he could have wished for stronger support from his family.
You all fought every step of the way for him.

I don't say prayers, but you will all be in my thoughts.

Unk, I'm so heartbroken for your loss. Zac was such an inspiring little man, I'm sure he is charming all of the angels now as he did his nurses and those of us who wern't blessed enough to meet him in person. My heart goes out to you and your family.
