Thank you all. I went to the hospital today and dropped off a bag of toys that Zac had gotten from the toy cart when it came around but had never opened. I saw his favorite nurse and the "chip lady" who always brought chips around on Tuesday night. She volunteers at the main information desk during the week and buys chips and snacks out of her pocket to give the kids on the cancer floor. We shared a few tears and some hugs. I wore a shirt I had made with an orange ribbon on the back that says In Memory of Zac Mason with the date 9/9/09 on it. A lady at the burger place I was eating dinner tonight stopped at my table and offered her condolences and asked what orange stood for. Matt and Diana went camping at the last place that took Zac camping. They plan on doing this every year. I talked to him tonight. Not a great day but all in all a comforting day.

Normally I'm rather cynical, but I loved the butterfly story too. Sometimes you just can't ignore a sign.

So sorry your family suffered such a terrible loss, Unk.
