I just thought of another weird combination food. I actually got this from Alton Brown (Good Eats). He said try black pepper on strawberries. He made something similar to a strawberry shortcake - but he peppered the strawberries first. I have to admit this sounded a little gross to me...but I'll try anything (especially if it's recommended by a cute, balding guy like Alton I love bald guys!). Black pepper is really good on strawberries. I cut the strawberries up, pepper them well, drizzle a little balsamic vinager on it. (I think I got the vinager idea from Alton Brown too).

I like peanut butter and potato chip sandwiches. Gotta be Lays, though...nothing else works. Peanut butter and honey is good, too.

This isn't terribly weird...but for any fellow salt-a-holics out there, for some reason, sweet apple slices sprinkled with salt is really, really good. and if you eat marble or cheddar cheese with them...mmmm.

I salt my Granny Smith apple slices. I salt Watermelon and cantalope too - but I think that is pretty common.

My grandma used to slice Granny Smith apples and pour vinegar over it. My mom does it too.

Hmm I never thought of that...I always use white sugar! I'll have to try that popcorn/chocolate chip thing too...

I like to make sandwiches out of a fried egg with green pepper slices...and lots of black pepper.

I also mix ketchup into baked beans.

Not sure how weird this is but I love to dip pretzels in iced tea.

Now this is a must try:

Popcorn with melted butter, sugar, and cinnomon poured on top.

Apparently, Orville has come out with a Cinnabun (sp?) flavored microwave popcorn, with a separate icing that you pour on after the corn is popped. I haven't tried it, but my daughter says it's wonderful!
