My mother always buys my sister and I tampons and pads. The worst thing is, she wraps them up so you feel like a retard opening them.

She's done it since we were 14.
If you go through a lot of hammers each month, I don't think it necessarily means you're a hard worker.
It may just mean that you have a lot to learn about proper hammer maintenance.

I know you are all going to think I am wacko(not that it changes anything), but one of my favorite gifts ever was a year supply of:
    Laundry detergent,
    bleach,
    toilet paper,
    dishwashing soap,
    paper towels,
    bath soap,
    hand lotion,
    napkins,
    shampoo,
    and
    conditioner

My parents just know how much I hate to spend money on flushable items. That freed alot of my money up for things that I wanted.

Oh, that is choice, Miss F! I can't stop laughing about it.
When you're ten years old and a car drives by and splashes a puddle of water all over you, it's hard to decide if you should go to school like that or try to go home and change and probably be late. So while he was trying to decide, I drove by and splashed him again. - Jack Handey

I did get a slip from my mom at my 11th birthday party. But for her defense.. I must tell you that she had put the present on my bed and my dad grabbed it and put it back in with the party pile. He never leaves things alone.
It occurred to me that no matter how bleak things might seem at times, at least I have a head. ----Stargazer

Feif, I think the cleaning supllies etc are a great gift. I HATE buying stuff like that and yet you HAVE too.

Last year my sis in law gave me a basket of goodies for Christmas. One of them was a gift card for FOOD LION. I was like what? But, it turned out great because I bought (among other things) some fancy columbian freshly ground coffee that I always looked at (and smelled) but could never get myself to come off the $8 a pound to buy! It was yummy
