Two things: Any time I hear a Michael Moore movie referred to as a "Documentary", and any commercial for anything "low carb".
Billy Mays Oxyclean commercials.
Ha, you mean BILLY MAYS! The guy's a bit of a shouter.

There is a new (to me) commercial about Kraft cheese slices. A man is making grilled cheese sandwiches for his very young daughter who talks so fast I can barely understand her. What I do understand makes me want to hit her. She is just a little walking encyclopedia. He is amazed and I'm disgusted.
I hate commercials that make men look like idiots. When did it become so prevalent to poke fun at men so often? Sometimes it's funny, but most of the time the kids come off looking like smart-asses, the woman is the brilliant sophisticate who for some strange reason married an imbecile, and the man is just plain ignorant. I realize it's because we women make most of the purchases, and they're (TPTB) trying to appeal to us, but really, if I thought my husband was so idiotic I wouldn't have married him.Ok, I feel better now!

Muduh, I agree. I hate commercials with smart-alecky kids. If I ever talked back like that to my parents I would have gotten the "Chancla." Translation: Sandal.![]()
Ludicrous speed!
My husband and I were discussing another dumb commmercial just a while ago. Those of you who are familiar with it will probably agree how stupid it is. It's about Citibank. I have seen three different ones and each one is more irritating than the last. In one, two women are in the produce department of a market. They are strangers, I assume. One is a large woman. The other touches her stomach and asks when the baby's due. Lady #1 says in a very loud voice "I'm not pregnant". Lady #2 stands there dumb founded for a few minutes then blurts out "Thank You". Then #1 opens her arms and says "girl, come here". That's it. Sound stupid? You need to see it.
In another one a guy bellows it out to his girlfriend in the middle of a restaurant after she asks when they are going to get married. And this couple is repulsive. At least the grocery store ladies are sort of normal.
