Thanks Unk! I went from a GMC Sierra to this smaller, sportier car so it's been an adjustment!

PGM, it won't take you long to get over the SUV--spending less on gas, better handling, easier parking-- I don't miss my truck at all. And you would be surprised at what you can fit in your car, especially with the seats folded down.

I got out of my SUV 2 years ago, I don't miss it a bit. The only thing I don't like is being behind one where I can't see!

Thanks all! I am liking the better gas mileage and the ease of parking! That was always a problem for me in the bigger truck.

Cute car! I drive a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. I think about trading for a regular car quite often. But I LOVE being up a bit higher as I drive the SoCal freeways.
Each time I go out of town I rent what I think I might like to own. So far I have not been impressed enough with anything to do the trade AND have a payment!

Re: What kind of car do you drive?

with all the upheaval on my life moving/retraining at work, I apparently drive a car with an EXPIRED TAG! I was getting gas this morning when a police officer pulled up and questioned me. I felt like an absolute idiot standing there with my mouth hanging open--I would have sworn I sent payment in. So I'm digging through the insurance cards, last years tag receipt, all that stuff--and it's just not there. Luckily I didn't get a ticket--I guess the officer felt like being nice. Monday is a holiday, I've got a doctor's appointment Tuesday--but you can bet I'll be first in line Wednesday. I have never in my life failed to pay a tag, tax, or insurance before; I'm embarressed.

I got a 2008 Chevy Cobalt. Good on gas. Nice little car. Affordable.

I am on my second Saturn Vue - 3rd Saturn. I don't do a lot of driving though - but I do love it. My favorite part are the heated seats right now!!! Bun warmers.
