Good for you Unk!! You need to spoil yourself once in a while.

In november we bought a 2004 Huyndai Santa Fe in black. It had 170km on it. Our very first NEW car. It's my husband's baby - he won't let our kiddo eat or drink in it.. as a matter of fact he gave me a very intense look for finishing a drink as I was getting into the silly thing the other day

Those are nice Duxxy. I thought about looking at one. My assistant has a Huyndai and never has had any problems at all. It's a Tiburon like Guttmutter has. Those are sporty little cars. My old Intrepid has 185,000 miles on it so it was time to get a new one. I kept my Intrepid though. Great car, never had any problems except the tranmission went out at 50,000 miles. It was covered undere the 70,000 mile warranty though.

1995 Dodge Neon. Might have to get something newer this year... looking forward to a newer car but not looking forward to having car payments. Mine is paid for. Maybe i will keep mine and just keep paying for repairs come to think of it. LOL, i go back and forth... i want a newer car, but i dont want the payments. Some day i will be forced to decide.

1998 Dodge Neon coupe in (dusty) black with 40K miles. Kinda funky in stop-n-go traffic, but get it above 80 mph & it purrs like a big kitten. I've used it as an off-road vehicle a few too many times, so the suspension is shot, but it's cheap to drive & easy to park. I'd rate it about an 8, only because it's not a Miata.

Unk.. we were driving an Intrepid when we bought the SUV. It was a great car with lots of room. Hubby decided that he either wanted another Intrepid or the SUV. Our Intrepid was a 99 and only had 70 000km on it. (20 000 of that was straight highway from Ontario to Manitoba) He loved it but we were going to have to put at least $2000 into it for repairs, including brakes and the stupid A/C so hubby decided it was a good time to move on.

hmmm... looks like hubby makes a lot of decisions in our house. don't let the car thing fool you, those are the only decisions that are his
