Ah, Brenna and Lil Miss...I feel y'all's pain.

I'm 19, three months away from turning 20, and I, too, do not have my learner's permit. Like Brenna, I just never got around to it, I guess. : shrug

But to save myself the embarrassment, here's what I do. Whenever someone asks me and appears startled by my confession, I look at them sniffily and say, "Well, as a member of Greenpeace, I actually believe in protecting the environment and reducing the consumption of fossil fuels, unlike some people."

Trust me, this works every time.

(And meanwhile, get yourself a doting boyfriend with a nice car! )

Its not a slam on her driving..... she's been driving for 10 years before she came here, and when she had to do everything here from scratch, she passed with flying colors (her biggest problem was that over there, they drive british style, on the other side of the road).
Did I also mention that they didn't even make me take a driving test? It was basically a day of waiting in line to get my license.

I lived in NYC. they have a great urban transportation system. actually takes longer to get to places via car, cus of all the traffic... and did you ever try parking in NYC???
Glad to hear I am not the only late bloomer when it comes to drivers license I lived in Helsinki and taking a bus/metro/tram would take you to downtown in 15-20 minutes whereas with a car it would have been 40 to 60 minutes from where I lived. Not to mention that parking was much too expensive in downtown. And with a bike you could make it even faster than bus sometimes Now I drive everywhere and I have also gained considerable amount of weight due to lack of natural excercise in daily routine, cars are evil
ps. This is just my opinion in the matter.

    About a month ago I bought a 2000 Mustang. 14k miles, 3.8l v6. Dark blue. Perfect condition.

What a fun car to drive. A big change from my '89 F150 w/140k miles.

-Randy (I thought I was cool until I was passed on the highway the other day by a little old lady driving a 'Stang )

What type of car do you have?

Since I LOVE cars, I was wondering what type of car everyone has.

    This is what I have:

Type: 2000 Ford Focus ZX3 (Hatchback)
    Color: White (with tinted windows)
    Transmission: Automatic
Do you like it? I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
