Sounds good to me. I'm sure I'll be awake and hubby asleep, so I say we meet here at midnight and wish each other a Happy New Year! And anyone else that is on FORT at that time too. BTW, I'm on EST, so my midnight would be in the Eastern time zone.

Cool -- that's 9:00 here, which means I'll still be awake the first time around!

Well, I will probably have a glass of wine or two and that will be the extent of my celebrating this year.
Pickled Okra is fantastic in a bloody mary!

I hope that everyone has a fun, safe New Year's Eve and best wishes for 2009! We'll be staying home, sipping something bubbly and snacking!

DH and I are actually going to drink tonight. We went through the liquor cabinet and found some Jack Daniels, some rum with orange, and volka with lime. So I put it all in the freezer and we're going to get drunk. Wish us luck!

Livin, if I mixed all those alcohols, I'd be sick, not just drunk.

But here's a toast to you and yours and have fun tonight.

Doxie, I have had pickled okra in bloody mary's and they are fantastic.

I still have fun and some egg nog left. I may have a final egg nog tonight.

I'm getting ready to head off to Shogun and eat me some good food and probably drink a little saki but I'll be back online before the new year rolls around here in 'Bama.
