Merry Christmas and Good Tidings to all. And a reminder to all who have no pets, or may wish another. The local animal shelters are all giving animals away free for the holidays. They have received an unprecedented amount of animals from people who have gone into foreclosure, etc. If you have room in your household, please consider adopting one of these furry friends.
Queen B, your furry baby looks so much like Monet that I have to do a doubletake.

Well it's raining here again, but I am sort of ready for tonight and tomorrow despite the rain. Still have a few gifts to wrap, but all the food prep is done and now just need to drag myself in to get a shower and get ready for candlelight service tonight.

I'm beat and just want to curl up in my bed with "pa in his cap and settle down for a long winter's nap".

Merry Christmas to you all! We are baking cookies and fixing rice and beans to go with our Christmas Eve tamales! It is raining here in the northwest where I am. Lucky for me! Many of our Oregonians are snowed in right now.

We've got everything ready to make our tamales tomorrow. I've got a chicken in the oven now for dinner tonight and will make some twice baked mashed potatoes! Tomorrow we have a Honey Baked ham (the kids are already having tamales at mom's house tonight) and I will make all the sides. I've put together two Grasshopper pies and we'll eat one tomorrow and one at my family's house on Friday. Champagne is chilling, plenty of orange juice and after dinner we'll be putting together a big wheel for my Godson to wake up and see tomorrow morning! Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and please be safe!!
