Scared of Santa

He wears a funny hat, high black boots, an incognito beard, thwarts your home security system by coming down they chimney in the middle of the night with a large sack, and then makes his getaway in a flying sleigh pulled by caribou. Yeah, I'd be scared too if someone suddely thrust me into the arms of this guy...:D
Scared of Santa

I was Santa in a previous life almost 40 years ago. I have few pictures like those in my portfolio. :lol

Still, Santa isn't as creepy as clowns. Almost, but not quite.

Just think some of the photos look really funny.

My daughter was never afraid of Santa. But we took her to see the Berenstein Bears at a bookstore once and they scared the know you what out of her. Imagine a 4 year old who see's these bears on the pages of a book and then in real life, they come out bigger than mommy and daddy.
Once she figured out Santa brought toys, she would plan her list for a month. She would take the Toys R Us flyer and cut out and glue pictures to paper to give to Santa so he'd know EXACTLY what she wanted. :lol The kid was PREPARED.

I have a picture somewhere of my older brother as a youngster with my sister on Santas lap and he is crying beginning to cry his eyes out. I asked my Mom if that was the first time she had taken him to see Santa, and she said yes and the last time. That was enough.

:laugh gabriel! Every year when I venture into the mall, I see kids screaming while being forced to sit on Santa's lap. I only took my son once to get his picture taken and the moment he began to smack Santa I said, ok, we're done!

My son at a very young age connected Santa with presents and was never scared of him. Now the Chuck E Cheese band? Whole other story! He is still scared of them and he's almost 6.

Has anybody heard Ray Stevens Nightmare Before Christmas? It fits right in with Greenappleage wrote about Santa and is about Santa being tried for all his crimes on Christmas Eve (breaking and entering, cruelty to animals, etc). It's pretty funny.
