My first thought on your dream is that you are heading toward something in your life that will take committment from you and a promise--as you had no identity for the groom. Also I found an interesting link about a getting married dream: WEDDING DREAM - What Do Dreams About Getting Married Mean?

Re: What does my dream mean?

In my most recent dream, I was being given a ride up a hill in a car. Then the real car might have ended up as a car on a track, like the track of a ride in an amusment park. (It was kind of vague exactly what it was). The car/train ended up in the living room of someone's house. I was waiting for the car/train to move, but it didn't, so I got out. I had to be careful walking through the living room because there were holes in the floor, and I didn't want to end up in the basement. I walked out of the house and started walking down the hill. Instead of walking on sidewalks, I ended up walking through several houses. The houses had tables that were already set for dinner. That was my entire dream. I read that dreaming about dining tables means that one is totally confident about something, totally in control of something. That applies to my weight, but doesn't really apply to other aspects of my life.

I had an interesting dream, which in the end became a bit graphic.

I could just say that it'd make an interesting plot for a crime TV series episode.

b.watcher - I sometimes dream that I have to walk through people's houses to get where I'm going and there's always the feeling of having to be careful so they don't catch me there, even though I'm just passing through out of necessity, not trying to cause trouble. I'd be very curious to know what that means. I've been having very vivid dreams without obvious meanings lately. The wedding one I wrote about earlier still has me stumped. I was so totally invested in the experience, but upon wakening didn't know anybody in the dream. Can we slip into other people's dreams? Jung's "collective unconscious", anyone?

If you are in control of your weight, then the holes in the livingrooms may have been like the pitfalls to keeping your weight stable? Funny there were so many hills in your dream. One interpretation of hills is that you are going thru a difficult journey in life right now.....

If we could slip into others dreams, it would be fascinating--the stuff of novels and movies! One interpretation of dreaming of houses is that it represents your life. Here is an interesting site with more info. Dreams about Houses

That dream took place in the city where I grew up. About half of the city is level, and the other half is on the side of a large hill. I appreciate your analysis.

Re: What does my dream mean?

I had this dream a couple of nights ago about being in a city I have yet to go to but will be in a couple of months. In the dream my friends and I are at a casino with another woman I hav e never met. We all hit jackpots and I wake up when I am trying to call my mother who is deceased.

I told this to a friend who emailed me to let me know the casino I mentioned is actually in the city I am going to. The other lady in the dream I have no idea who it is. I will lay odds that I will meet her on my trip. I have had two prior dreams about unknown people and I have met those people shortly after the dreams.

Re: What does my dream mean?

Lately I've been dreaming quite a bit about some girl I like. I don't know what that could possibly mean, other than telling me I'm too obsessed and there's no point.
