Re: Things that you really want

I'll probably never get what I really want, but beyond anything I already have, I'd rather be free of chronic pain, especially in my feet. I'd even trade the rest of my life for five to ten pain free years, seriously.
I have found the Truth and it doesn't make sense.

I want to be with the man I love.

Famita, will send good man finding thoughts your way.

I just want to sleep well again. It's killing me to not sleep well and be busier than I've been in years.

My fibromyalgia acts up when I don't get enough rest.

I want to be able to sleep past 5:30 A.M. on the days I don't have to get up.
I can't sleep late anymore at all. Maybe I used up all my sleep in my teens and 20's. Maybe it's a limited quantity and I used to much of it then and now I'm paying for it now.

I also want to be finishd with German. I'm in my first semester and I have to take 2.

And selfishly I would like new curtains, a new mattress, a bigger bathroom, more closet space, to spend about $1000 on a bunch of books I want, then I'd want more bookcases and the time to read all the books.

I don't know if you've tried this before, mrd, but it always works for me. If I wake up too early, I listen to a book on cd preferably one that I've previously listened to or read. I start to concentrate on the narrator's voice and ignore all my own thoughts (which are usually like "I need sleep" and "I'm going to be so tired all day if I don't get more sleep" lol), and I fall back asleep with 20 minutes or so.

Would I sound just a tad greedy if I simply said money?

Though it's not so much money as it is a 40"+ LCD TV.

I've tried just about everything. What works is usually reading, but it always takes me over an hour to fall back asleep. The problem is waking up at 4 a.m. when I need to be up at 6 because then I don't have time to fall back again.
And if something wakes me up, then I can't go back to sleep. Someone told me to try taking magnesium and calcium and i'm going to do that and see if it helps. But most women my age tell me the same thing. I think it's hormones.

I now want to be able to do my grocery shopping at Fresh Market. I love that store and can only go in for very special occasions.
