Thank you! It snowed again, and my Dad brought me some gas for my snowblower. The snow was drifted so bad over my front walk I only managed to do my own. I was sore and too tired to even push the snowblower into the drifts. I couldn't do my drive-way either. No good deeds done yesterday.

Even still, it's the thought that counts. You wanted to and you tried, but just because the piles made it impossible isn't like you didn't want to!

    Re: Random Acts of Kindness

I was leaving the museum 2 days ago and a car pulled up to me in the parking lot asking directions to somewhere else. They were from out of town and were so confused (driving here is an exercise in frustration because the roads are so wacky). I knew where they wanted to go, but it would have been really convoluted to tell them. I said: "just follow me and I'll take you there". It wasn't all that far away and was actually only 2 blocks out of my way home.
The husband was so happy and wanted to pay me for my gas, b ut I just said that it was no problem and I didn't mind showing him. Then the kicker: he says: "It really IS true what they say about the South. Everyone IS much friendlier here".

That was sweet of you mrd!! How kind of you to just show them. I'd be so grateful because I have TERRIBLE sense of direction.

    Re: Random Acts of Kindness

I had a surveyor who got lost in the woods when I lived way out yonder. He straggled into my back yard when I was home alone with his dogs obviously relieved to have found a house. He told me where his car was parked so I took him and his dogs back to it - about a 15 min. trip with no houses in between. I realized later that that could have been a really, really stupid thing to do. Nobody knew where I went or anything. But it turned out well and he sure was grateful.

Would your dogs have protected you Gut? It would have been really dangerous if they hadn't been with you.

I worded that awkwardly - I was home alone - he had his dogs with him.
