ARGH!!! I just discovered I have to go back to the grocery store. It will be a madhouse today, I'm sure.
But I need things for our Easter picnic that I thought I had and don't. And I was going to dye eggs today and we're almost out of eggs. I bought an extra carton earlier in the week and it's already been used!

Anyone else dying eggs? I've never missed a year. My mom and I always dyed eggs even after I was grown and before I got married and had my daughter. I love that part of it. So much fun!

I had to go to the grocery store this morning and it was definetley a madhouse! I even skipped the first place I went to when I saw the full parking lot and went to another only to find that it was packed too!! And it wasnt even 9 am yet! I kept my head down and kept moving, got the few items needed then waited in the lineup to get out.

Did the majority of my shopping last night and it wasn't bad at all. Of course once I got home I discovered that I forgot a few small things. I'm going to do a market drive by and if it looks too crazy we'll do without.

    Happy Easter Everyone!

I'm working up the courage now to go. Maybe I should take one of my "nerve" pills before going out.

I picked up a leg of lamb last night. It was kind of big (I bought the smallest available), and I could have saved $$ by going with ham instead, but I love lamb! Add sides of peas and scalloped potatoes, and that's good eating!

What time should I be there? Boy your menu sounds good. LOVE peas too.
We are having baked orzo with peas tonight. Yum.

I really wanted to do lamb, but we got a free ham. Got to love free pork!

I love lamb too and we don't have it often. Maybe when Mr. Rosie gets back after 2 weeks in the bustling armpit of the world: Lumberton, NC.

I'm picking up boiled ham, probably pastrami or corned beef, rolls, etc., etc nothing fancy as none of use are really in any mood.
