Well We're not doing anything - Mom & Dad aren't really in the mood, frankly neither am I, so they are coming over here for sandwiches for lunch or whatever. Maybe I'll order out.
We won't have any kids this year for Easter so I think mr buglover and I are going to just spend a quiet weekend alone and maybe do a little shopping.
That sounds like a nice weekend.Quote:

Gosh. No big plans here. Can't believe it's Easter already!
I brought some frozen leftover pork roast and fixin's from Calgary. Sweetie is working most of the weekend. Parents aren't into doing anything, older sister and hubby are going to his parents, so I guess I'm left to amuse the evil twin sinister once again.
Ahh. Well. I have my kitts to keep me happy. And Lexi looks like a real bunny the way she hops around with her high back legs and little stubby tail.
If only I could find a really small pair of easter bunny ears!! And an easter basket for her!
We got a free ham! WOO HOO!!!!
Nothing says Easter like free pork products! :rofl
Found a really good sounding baked asparagus recipe in the latest Kraft Food and Family magazine and a good sounding lemon cupcake recipe.
So now we are having ham, deviled eggs (we are still into coloring eggs here, so we always have them for dinner on Easter), baked asparagus and lemon cupcakes. Maybe a salad and rolls too.
mrd, if the lemon cupcakes turn out as delicious as they sound please share in the recipe thread!
Asparagus is on sale here at Krogers for $1.99 per lb. I'm going to buy some. :droolQuote:
