No decorations yet, we get a live tree so I don't want to put it up too early.
I haven't done any decorating yet. I do, however, have ALL of my Christmas shopping without having to suffer through the insanity of Black Friday!![]()
got our tree up and decorated - lights up the whole house!!
still got the other rooms to decorate, but I'm quite content for now.

Wow, amazing to see so many people getting their house done and decorated already. We won't be till I get home around the 11th. But I'm "decorating" my facebook.
I can't wait to see pictures!!
What ? Shopping done, outside and inside decorating done ?
We are still trying to get rid of the fallen leaves here ! They were late this year do to the wacky weather, and now it's cold !
Believe it or not there are NO outdoor decorations up in my neighborhood yet. None ! We had a little rain and then freezing temps so I guess people didn't want to fall off the roof this weekend.

We have our first casualty. Waldo apparantly does not like silk poinsettas.
I had a small candle ring that I wasn't planning on using it and had set it on a box to be packed up and he apparantly decided he didn't like it and never wanted us to use it as it ended up in pieces on the living room floor.
I knew he was biding his time.
The tree still has nor ornaments, but it has lights and garland. I'm thinking now, maybe I won't bother with ornaments this year. It does look fairly nice with what it has on it. But not sure if I can trust Waldo enough to decorate it now. Besides, I'm over the decorating. I'm ready to move on to other things.![]()

Being a single guy, I don't really dress up my house. My sister solved that problem and sent me some Christmas trinkets so I guess I'll be setting those up.

Please explain to me, speedy, why single guys just don't bother to decorate for the holidays or get much into the Christmas spirit?Originally Posted by speedbump;2691723;
I am a single girl and I have always decorated something for Christmas, even put lights on lamp when I had no money for a tree! My sweetie, who is single, says why bother when it's just him there? He has decorations from his family in storage and last year I put them up with lights and a stocking on his fireplace and he loved it. But he can't see doing it when it's just him. I don't get it.
Well, I decorate for my kitties of course, but it's just nice to help get into the spirit.
