Sometimes I seem to have brain lock for a few minutes and forget which is which. My mom told me that when I was little, I showed ambidextrous tendencies but at the time, doctors were trying to get parents to 'train' it out of you. So, maybe I should have been ambidextrous and that's why I forget. Anyway, this is my trick. Hold your hands out in front of you with your flattened palms facing away and your thumbs pointed toward each other. The hand that forms an "L" with the thumb and first finger is your left.

I'm not ambidexterous, I'm a righty but sometimes I mix up left and right. I'll be giving directions to someone and I'll say turn left, but point to the right (Then they slowly take a few steps backand go ask someone else). I also have to think for a second or two when some will tell me to go right or left. I use Miss F's method and imagine which hand I'd hold my pen in to figure right/left.

Lefty, creative. I'm very artistic, although I haven't done anything in forever.

    Shoot guns: left
    Bat: right
    Kick: left
*Cut steak: left, then switch the fork back to the left after I cut.
Computer mouse: right, STRICTLY! Lordy, trying it with my left hand, I can hear my hand screaming, "wtf?!@? This shiat AIN'T for me!" People think it's strange that I don't mouse w/my left.

*The cutting of food thing has always bugged me as a lefty. I don't trust my right hand with sharp objects, so my left hand has to do it all. While I'm cutting food with the left, the right only holds the food still..then I switch/set down the knife and eat with my left.

    Am I alone in this?

All things beautiful do not have to be full of color to be noticed; in
